Shellenberger Field
Seventy five percent of the students at Lynchburg College participate in fitness and wellness activities including varsity sports, club sports and intramural sports. As part of affirming its commitment to student sports, the College undertook a major expansion/renovation of Shellenberger Field.

The project includes construction of a state of the art synthetic playing field, an 8 lane synthetic surfaced track, new stadium lighting for night play, a 500 seat stadium bowl, an open air press pavilion and donor recognition area. The pavilion also serves numerous other non-sport functions including campus tours and outdoor classes.
